Simply putting food ‘ down the hatch’ does not guarantee us to obtain all the key nutrition from it, and that all the key nutrients from that food will get into our blood stream and to your cells. There are multiple processes involved in digestion from chewing (and saliva activity), to the absorption ability of the villi (that line the intestinal walls) in our gut. Even indigestion, gas, bloating, reflux, constipation and stress can radically all upset what nutrients finally get absorbed into our blood.

Clearly we do want these key nutrients absorbed into the blood stream and to circulate in the body
